Edward J. Bennett. 82, of Springfield, passed away on April 4, 2023 at Heritage Hall East in Agawam.  He was born on July 8, 1940 in Springfield and was the son of the late Brian and Doris (Miller) Bennett.  Edward was a material handler at Savage Arms in Westfield and worked at the former Piels Brother Brewery in Chicopee.  He is survived by his loving wife, Judith A. (Precourt) Bennett; his daughter, Susan Kusnierz and her husband, Max of Westfield, three grandchildren, Shelley Rovatti and her husband, Jeffrey of Feeding Hills, Zachary Kusnierz and Max Kusnierz, all of Westfield and Ed’s best friend, his dog, Benji. Services are private.
