Joseph M. Stanek, 55, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at home. He was born on November 29, 1966 in Springfield and was the son of Joyce (Thibault) Stanek and the late Frank A. Stanek. Joe attended Chicopee and Springfield schools. He worked at J Polep Distribution Center, Viking of Springfield, Harvey Industries, Hanover Securities and the former Riverside Park. Joe is survived by his mother and siblings, Theresa Kroll, Arthur Stanek, Sally Stanek and Mark Stanek; his uncles, George Stanek and wife, Elaine, Robert Stanek and wife, Jackie; aunts, Marlene Stanek and Helen Manseau and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe is predeceased by his father and brother, George “Corky” Stanek. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
