Judith M. Nawoj, 69, of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at home.  She was born on October 28, 1953 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late John J. and Genevieve M. (Bigda) Nawoj.  Judith worked in customer service in the Campus Book Store at Mt. Holyoke College for nineteen years and at Western New England University, retiring in 2022. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School.  Judith is survived by her sister, Joanne C. Strycharz and her husband, Robert of Westfield, a nephew, Scott Strycharz and a niece, Leigh Morin and her husband, Adam. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 387 Chestnut St. in Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of the Elms Chapel, 291 Springfield St. Chicopee, MA 01013.
