Michael R. Douglass, 46, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at home.  Michael was born on October 19, 1976 in Springfield to his parents Robert Douglass and Carmen (Lafond) Graziano.  He was a graduate of the class of 1994 at Chicopee High School, where he was a member of the basketball and baseball teams. He was an avid lover of sports, and was a diehard New England Sports fan. He enjoyed the simple things in life such as hanging out with friends and family in his yard and man cave, camping and pool parties.  Amongst his favorites places to visit and vacation were Salisbury Beach and Cape Cod.  He was an Inventory Control Manager at Agri-Mark for 15 years, enjoyed his job very much and worked alongside some of his closest friends. Besides his parents, Carmen Graziano and Robert Douglass and wife Joyce, he is survived by his former wife Rachel Nicodemus and their daughters Christina and Stephanie; his siblings, Matthew, Kelley, Joseph and Shawn; step mother Debra and husband Michael; his niece and Goddaughter Leah; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be on Thursday, July 20th from 4 to 6 pm at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee.  A funeral home service will be held at 6 pm.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
