Peter E. Jezouit, 79, of Chicopee, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by his family.  He was born on March 2, 1944 in Springfield and was the son of the late Edward and Phyllis (Dziewit) Jezouit.  Peter was an engineer for various companies including Savage Arms, Whithill and Holman Engineering; he retired from Mestek in South Windsor, CT  He is survived by his wife of almost fifty nine years, Frances (Bazinet) Jezouit, a son, Allen Jezouit and his wife, Jane of Chicopee and a daughter, Susan Davignon and her husband, Paul of Westfield and four grandsons, Josh and Mitchell Jezouit and Cameron and Cole Davignon. Peter loved fishing, fly tying and golf. He was a long time member of the Pioneer Valley Boat & Surf Club and the Western Mass Fly Tyers Club. Besides his parents, Peter is predeceased by a sister, Barbara M . Duda.  Calling hours are on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 9 to 10 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee.  A funeral home service will be held at 10 am.
