Phyllis G. (Dygdon) Wosko, 97, of Chicopee, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.  She was born in Chicopee on August 19, 1925 and was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Swol) Dygdon.  She was a 1943 graduate of Chicopee High and attended Holyoke Secretarial School. Phyllis was an Administrative Assistant at Western New England School of Law and retired as a Secretary at the Springfield Library. She enjoyed reading and loved to cook, and be with her family. Phyllis also did Card Making and Crafting with her granddaughter, Lauren. Phyllis is survived by her two sons, Stanley E. Wosko of Chicopee and Timothy J. Wosko of Boston and two daughters, Dorothy Blanchard and her husband, Jeffrey of Agawam and Christine Gardner of Springfield; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchilddren. Phyllis is predeceased by her husband, Walter Wosko and her brother, John Dygdon.  Calling hours are on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 8 to 9 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Cathedral, 254 State St. in Springfield at 10 am.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery St. in Chicopee.
