Ronald entered eternal life on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 6:15 pm. He was a loving father, stepfather, and great friend to many throughout the years.

Ronald had a passion for the Red Sox and bowling.  He dedicated 35 years of his life working at the former Sweet Life Foods/Supervalue and was a committed Teamster of Local 559 until his retirement in 1997.  He will be missed by many and is now in heaven with the rest of his family.

Ronald was the youngest of seven children and deeply adored by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma (Boutin) Morrissette, father, Anthanese Morrissette, two brothers, Marcelin and Edward Morrissette and four sisters, Thodeline Leblanc, Marie Rose Shaffer, Irene Rollis and Theresa Trask. Ronald was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 36 years, Rayma Jean (Cote) Morrissette until her passing in April 2013 and his great grandchild, Jaliyah.

Surviving Ronald are his six children:  son, Ronald L Morrissette Jr. and wife, Eleanor, daughters: Cindy Goodyear and husband Mark, Michele Marie Morrissette, Laura Beth Morrisette and stepsons: Earl R McClain Jr. and wife, Lynn, Gene McClain and wife, Gail. Additionally, he leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews all of whom held a special place in his heart.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10 to 11 am at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee, followed by a funeral home service at 11 am.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
