Sarah (Ragosa) Comtois, 85 passed away Sept 14, 2023 in Holyoke.  Born in Ventura. Calif., the daughter of Refugio and Olivia (Chavez) Ragosa.  Predeceased siblings; Josephine, Delores, and Tony, and surviving brother Marvin.  Surviving ex-husband, Leo Comtois, FL.  A graduate of God’s Bible School and College, Ohio she started to study nursing but left to care for her father-in-law, Valmor and moved to New England. Sarah’s love and joy was her family.  She was a great support, confidant and friend to her girls. Sarah was a long time employee of Holyoke Hospital and volunteer at Shriners Hospital. She is survived by her daughters; Catherine Rosendale, husband Mark, FL., Allison Rosendale, husband David, Ma., and Karen Windoloski, partner, Dalyn Edwards, Ma. and Grandchildren; Brian Rosendale, Ma., Nicole Rosendale and Bachul Koul (partner) Calif., Grace Rosendale and Anthony Windoloski, Ma, Great Grandchildren; Cadyn and Cameron Rosendale, and niece Janet Querido and husband Art of Conn and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral for family will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee with a calling hour from 10-11am, a funeral home service at 11am and burial in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to; Alzheimers Association or New England Hospice, c/o Chaplain Services.
