Shirley M. (Thomas) Thompson, 87, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at Day Brook Village in Holyoke.  She was born on January 15, 1936 in Springfield and was the daughter of the late Catherine (Maziarz) Thomas.  Shirley was a retired bookkeeper for Anderson Little. She is survived by her three daughters, Lynn Thompson, Laura Piquette and her husband, Kevin and Kathy Archambault, all of Chicopee, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and her brother Joseph Thomas and his wife Marie. Besides her parents, Shirley is predeceased by her husband, Harold L. Thompson and her sister, Eleanor Meverden.  A private graveside service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
