Theresa A. (Cwiertniewicz) Glog, 77, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the JGS Life Care of Longmeadow.  She was born on September 30, 1946 in Adams.  Theresa was the daughter of the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Baran) Cwiertniewicz.  She was a 1968 graduate of the North Adams State College. She was an office trainer at K-Mart, a manager at a mail order center and a trucking company.  Theresa was an avid reader of books and newspapers and enjoyed reading unusual obituaries.  She and her husband were long time polka and square dancers.  Theresa had a collection of raccoon themed items. She sang with the Sweet Adelines. Theresa loved ice cream and would be happy for others to enjoy some in her honor. She is survived by her sisters, Joan Cwiertniewicz of Ellicott City, Maryland,  Frances Cwiertniewicz of Adams and Anne Crisci and her husband, Gregory of South Weymouth and a brother, Joseph Cwiertniewicz of Woodinville, WA.  Besides her parents, Theresa is predeceased by her husband, Thomas F. Glog and her two furry friends, Charlie and Buddy. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 69 East St. in Chicopee from 9:30 to 10:30 am.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Blvd. in Springfield at 11 am.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Adams at a later date.
